The pneu postmark: a p drawn as a pneumatic tube, ringed by “dans l'heure · within the hour”

pneu

A Gmail-native mail client for Omarchy.

Named for the Paris pneumatique (1866–1984), where a letter went by tube under the city and arrived within the hour; Parisians called the letter itself un pneu.

Gmail stays the backend. pneu is a local view over a synced copy: lieer syncs each account through the Gmail API, notmuch indexes it, and a small server on your own computer renders it in an app window of your browser. An Omarchy bar widget shows unread mail and warns when sync stops.

If you arrived from a Google consent screen

pneu has no central service. Everyone who installs it creates their own Google Cloud project and OAuth client, so the app named on your consent screen belongs to whoever set it up, usually you. Its access goes from Google to that person's computer and nowhere else. See the privacy policy.
